It will come as no surprise that everyone is having a tough go of this brave new world we all seem to find ourselves in. On top of the state of the world and economy, it's summer, which for this industry is when sales damn near stop. '11 will go into the books as the worst summer in history for the firearms industry. Anyone tells you different - they're lying.
In the last 60 days 11 large shops have closed their doors nationwide, several others are weighing their options.
As for TDS, well my Grandmother used to say I didn't have the sense it took to come in out of the rain, so as long as my key opens the door I keep showing up.
