As if.......
As if they don't have enough to deal with.
The country will go bankrupt is a week or so, most folks are broke already, global warming, cost of gas, and a list as long as my arm, and yet they still are worried about G U N S.

Give it a rest guys! Deal with the real problems, after all isn't that what we pay you for?

If they introduce a new gun control bill they can say that they have been working on SOMETHING, even if it's not what they should be...
I see one brighter spot about the latest talk of new legislation. With the exception of Rep. McCarthy and a couple others, most of it focuses on creating a nation-wide background check system that actually works. I believe that is a worthy goal, even the NRA agrees on this point. There are certainly people out there that should never be permitted to get a weapon. Stable, law abiding citizens should not be affected by it. They may be finally getting that it's not the gun, it's the person holding it. (Probably wishful thinking)
One thing I'm curious about though: what exactly does "under the radar" entail here? Sounds like "don't rock the boat before the election".
