Here we go again.....
This past December the ammunition gods announced their bi-annual price increase.  It was a doozie - 10 to 15% across the board.
Now their back at it again - July 1 another 10% minimum!

The majority of retailers adjust their pricing the minute the increase goes into effect.  Personally I think this is BS.  Here at TDS we don't reflect new pricing until new product arrives and actually starts selling.
What I mean is if we have 100 boxes of something bought at the old price, it sells based on that price.  Once those are gone and the new higher priced boxes are all that's left, then the new pricing kicks in.

Likewise, if we get a good deal on something like we did on the Golden Saber, we'll do some cost averaging magic and drop the prices on the entire product.  This has a tendency to drive folks nuts.  One day it's $25 a box, the next its $17, a week later its up to $22.  Yeah it confuses us to, but its what we think is right - passing on the savings rather than reaping a big windfall.

Projects and Goals
Every year during the Summer months the entire firearms industry damn near comes to a complete standstill - never made any sense to me, but that's the way it is.
Knowing that we've gotten busy with some projects that once they take shape will be very cool.

* I'm waiting to hear from Big Brother if TDS has been approved for its Class III and manufacturing licenses.  Did someone say SUPPRESSORS?
Once approved there are some fairly cool announcements already written and waiting to be sent out.  A sneak preview could include a custom ammunition line and perhaps some equally custom firearms to fire it through.

* Website changes are on the way (finally).  Every so often we get suggestions on how to make the website a bit more user friendly.  Trust me I pay attention, the problem is that our present provider, although economical, is limited in its functionality - in short were making use of every feature available to us.
During SHOT I ran into a company that "promised" to be able to link in our distributors inventory, migrate our unique items, and in the end allow for almost everything a quality website should be.
Ive been talking to those folks since January - like I said "promised".  Time for talk is over.
Along the way our present dropship distributor decided to eliminate the data feed we use based on who knows what logic so we have no choice but to jump ship.

Enter a site development company and a distributor that's willing to see the value in working with operations such as TDS.
In a few months you should see a new website, see a much expanded product line including firearms.  Hopefully this will bring TDS into at least the present day technology.

There are a few other things in development here but Ill save those till they get a bit closer to reality.

Head Start
To reward you for reading down this far, what with no pictures and all - here's a head start on our July 4th sale.  Use the code "JULY 4" and save some money....
