Last full day of SHOT

All good things must come to an end and its time to get home and see just how much snow has piled itself outside the shop.

I can report that after 3 days walking miles and miles the Converse boots were an excellent choice.  Ive always thought they were comfortable but Im actually amazed.  Last shot show I wore sneaks and thought I was going to die, this year I can tell I put in some miles but no blisters and all in all no sore feet.  Oh and yeah I stopped by the folks that distribute them and unless I miss my guess, TDS will be a distributor.  Yes Im that convinced.

So aside from a nonstop stick and move act for 3 days there aren't a tremendous amount of new products that take your breath away coming out anytime soon.  Some cool things but not a ton of them like in years past.

The most impressive items are still months away from being in our hands.

KelTec's got a couple coming - the bullpup shotgun and the PMR30 which is fairly close to being out simply since its a combination of existing items.
The PMR frame is  used on their 22mag pistolla, the barrel is from the SU22.

Russian American Armory has a 12 guage shotgun built on an AR platform.  Not a Saiga but a fairly convincing AR with a ginormous hole in the barrel.  The mags will drop at the touch of a button and load "correctly" without all the add ons.
The gas system runs under the barrel making the bore to sights ratio sweet.  There are supposed to be a few arriving for eval fairly soon, so depending on that this could be fun.

Kimber rolled out - rather pushed out a new "carry" pistols.  I say pushed since although billed as carry items they are stainless frames and are indeed as billed - solid.  Kimber Super Carry Pro HD is  not my first choice for daily carry bit is nice looking.

I got a chance to see more sub $600.00 45's than I ever knew existed.  Some of the best ones are coming from ATI.  Nicely built and well balanced.
Im one of those guys that was taught to evaluate a 45 with a cotton ball.  If after a good rub theres fuzz , its crap.  No fuzz on these.

For those of you who have been waiting for airsoft versions of Glock to reappear so you can work force on force or just train without all the expense - hang a few and their coming.    Not a carbon copy of a Glock but its the closest your going to get until the boys in Georgia or Austria allow a licensed item.  Fits all the Glock holsters and is WELL built.
Given the number of PD's asking for them we've got them on order.

I shipped home about 45 pounds worth of swag and literature so once that arrives and things get back to normal around the shop, I'll probably have more about the new stuff that I cut deals on.

Until then a few more pictures of the Keltec shooters.  Taking pics for us non media guys was almost forbidden so I had to shoot and move.
